It was so amazing!!! It was hosted by Community Church of Seattle(시애틀형제교회). This year their coding team visited here a fourth time. Especially their leaders including a Senior Pastor, Rev Kwon, Jun joined. Thanks to God and them.
We had a special coding event on June 22, 2019
We had a special coding event in Leupp on June 22, 2019, hosted by Andrew Ahn, Jae Jang, and their 3 children. 15 Navajo kids participated in this. They guided a worship service with some gospel songs, taught coding and coloring on the evangelic design paper, and let the Navajo kids play with a toy plane on the ground. Lastly, they offered presents to all kids. It’s been a pleasant day!
We finished Spring 2019 semester
We finished the Spring 2019 semester on Saturday, June 1. Seven students were in attendance at the closing ceremony with their families. We offered presents and scholarships to the students. In this semester, the total registration of students was 9. We had some difficulties in running our school classes because we started it in Flagstaff for the first time this year. Nevertheless, God gave our school a lot of grace. Even if there are a small number of students in the school, they could take a good lesson from four professional teachers. We expect that we can further develop our school programs in the Fall semester. To this end, we’ll especially contact the education officials in Flagstaff Unified School District.
And Andrew Ahn’s team is scheduled to come to Leupp to teach coding to Navajo kids on Saturday, June 22. Community Church of Seattle(시애틀형제교회) coding mission team also will come here in August.
Please pray for these, so Navajo kids can dream of a better future. Thank you, God, Community Church of Seattle and some people.
We had a most enjoyable starting day of school in Flagstaff, AZ
Today, Mar 9th, was the opening day of our school. Six teachers and assistants, and nine students were present. So great! Thank you, God and our supporter, the Community Church of Seattle(시애틀형제교회). More students will maybe join a class next Saturday. We ask for your continuous prayers so that the Lord gives us the strength to fulfill the evangelical and educational mission for the Navajo kids He entrusted to us.

Classes will be conducted in two-semester sessions – Spring and Fall. Each session will consist of eleven (11) week Saturday classes. For the first session in 2019, classes will begin on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm and will continue each Saturday to June 1, 2019. Classes will not be held on April 20, 2019 in observance of Easter weekend and May 25, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day.
We have continued our school for the last three years in the Leupp area of the Navajo Nation. From this year on, we are launching our school to have four classes, 1) Math 2) Computer Programming [Scratch] 3) English 4) Music [Ukulele], at Flagstaff Indian Bible Church, 10 W Cherry Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 84001. This has been established to advance the academic knowledge and skill of the Navajo students from kindergarten to grade 12, but all students are welcome to participate in these classes. Everything in our school including tuition, materials, and food will be provided free of charge. And an excellent student can get a scholarship.
